Upon returning to Michigan, she joined the Detroit Underground Band, appearing on their two CDs Live at the Dally in the Alley and Colorblind. Others on the Detroit scene that she has worked with include Sir Mack Rice, Thornetta Davis, Cathy “Diva” Davis and Lady T, as well as the now-departed legends of Detroit blues Eddie Kirkland, Joe Weaver and Willie D. Warren.
