Upon returning to the United States, Cee Cee began singing with the Detroit Underground Blues Band, performing at various venues throughout Michigan. In 2000, they recorded their first CD entitled “Colorblind” (which features two of Cee Cee’s original songs) and their second, “‘Live’ at The Dally” was recorded one year later.

Cee Cee went on to perform and record with various local artists such as: Sir Mack Rice(Mustang Sally),Thornetta Davis, Alberta Adams, and many, many more.  She also had the pleasure of performing with the late Detroit Blues legends Willie D. Warren and Joe Weaver, and also Motown’s Funk Brother, Joe Hunter. She recorded her third CD “Don’t Mess Around” (No Cover Productions) with RJ Spangler and The Rhythm Rockers in 2008.
